Ryanair depart from Terminal 1. Places to grab a refreshment in the departure lounge include Starbucks and Butler's Chocolate Cafe. You'll find plenty of great shops in The Loop shopping area, including Superdry, Jo Malone and MAC Cosmetics.

Aer Lingus and Stobart Air fly from Terminal 2. The departure lounge has a great range of places to eat, including a Chocolate Lounge and Flutes bubbly bar. For something more substantial you can enjoy some Irish cooking at Harvest Market or The Slaney Bar. Shops range from big designer brands like Tommy Hilfiger to airport favourites like Dixons Travel. Terminal 2 has an executive lounge, and access starts at €19.95* (about £15.50). The lounge has unlimited Wi-Fi and a range of complimentary snacks and drinks.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Aer Lingus and Stobart Air land at Terminal 1, while Ryanair land at Terminal 3. All of Manchester Airport's terminals are within walking distance of each other. It's possible to reach Manchester city centre by a variety of public transport methods including train, tram and coach. The airport train station is located between Terminals 1 and 2. Tickets to Piccadilly Station cost £4.20* one-way. Tickets for the Metrolink tram system are the same price. National Express and Stagecoach buses serve the airport: be sure to book your ticket in advance to get the best rates. Each terminal has a taxi rank, and a cab to the centre of Manchester costs about £18*.
