Easyjet is the only airline operating flights from London Stansted to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Terminal Information
London Stansted Airport
You should arrive at Stansted Airport at least 2 hours before your flight to Amsterdam is scheduled to depart. Easyjet no longer offer check in at the airport so you will need to check in online and print your boarding pass or use the Easyjet mobile app. If you are travelling with hold luggage you will need to take your bags to the bag drop desks which are located in Check-in Zone C.
There is one terminal at London Stansted Airport with a wide selection of places to eat in the departures lounge. You will have popular places such as Burger King, Starbucks, Giraffe, James Martin Kitchen, Pip and Harris + Hoole to choose from.
Stansted Airport shops include Boots, The Body Shop, Dixons, Rituals, Hamleys, World Duty Free and fashion from JD Sports, Next and Fat Face. The Additional Bag Allowance allows you to take one standard shopping bag from the airport shops on board alongside your hand luggage, alternatively you can use the collect on return service for larger items.
You can enjoy up to 60 minutes of free Wi-Fi per day at the airport with additional time available to purchase.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has one terminal with 4 arrivals areas which surround the Schiphol Plaza. The Plaza is where you find all of the airport’s shops and places to eat including The Body Shop, convenience stores, a number of clothing brands, a pharmacy, Leonidas Belgian chocolates and CupcakeChic Bakery.
Other facilities available in the Plaza are onward travel ticket desks, tourist information points, currency exchange bureaus, cash machines and free Wi-Fi access.
Onward travel options from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam are train and bus services. The airport has a train station; Schiphol Railway station in the basement of the Plaza. From here you can take one of the regular services to Amsterdam and other cities in The Netherlands such as Rotterdam and The Hague. Trains from Schiphol Railway Station to Amsterdam Centraal take around 15 minutes leaving every 10 minutes, a single ticket costs €9 which can be purchased from the cash only ticket machines at the airport.
Bus services depart from outside of the airport terminal building, the quickest bus to Amsterdam is Route 197 which runs every 15 minutes. A single ticket is €5.
