Terminal Information – Departing
Newcastle Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has a good range of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. You can pick up some last minute essentials at Boots, some in-flight reading at WHSmith, or browse luxury goodies in World Duty Free. High street stores include Accessorize and JD Sports. There are four fast food destinations at the airport, two restaurants and a bar. Greggs and Starbucks are perfect if you just need a coffee and a cake. Upper Crust and Burger King offer something slightly more filling. For a proper meal, head to The Cabin where you can enjoy locally sourced food, or pop into The Flying Hippo American Diner. The Beer House is ideal for a pre-flight drink, and if you smoke you can indulge your habit in the bar's small outdoor area. An executive lounge is provided by Aspire. Entry starts at £21.99*. The atmosphere is more peaceful than the general departure lounge, and you can help yourself to the complimentary refreshments. It's perfect if you want to kick off your holiday in style, and the unlimited Wi-Fi makes it easy if you have a bit of work to get on with before your flight.
