Terminal Information – Arriving

Flights from Manchester usually land at Stockholm Arlanda's Terminal 5. The fastest way to the city is the Arlanda Express Train. The station is underneath the terminal. The journey to Stockholm Central Station takes 20 minutes, and tickets can be purchased online in advance. You can find local trains underneath Sky City, between terminals 4 and 5. The Air Shuttle bus, which connects the city to the airport, has a stop just outside Terminal 5. The journey takes 35 minutes. Free Wi-Fi is available on the bus, and each seat has an electrical outlet if you need to charge any devices. Flygbussarna coaches also serve the airport and also have free Wi-Fi on board. These coaches use fossil-free fuel, making them a good choice for environmentally conscious people. Journey time is 40 minutes. Swebus buses also operate at the airport, and take roughly the same amount of time to reach the city.

What to expect in Stockholm

Sweden is one hour ahead of the UK and the currency is the Swedish Krona. Stockholm can be a very expensive city, especially in terms of drinking and dining out.
