Terminal Information – Departing
This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.
British Airways flights depart from Terminal 5, while Swiss leave from Terminal 2. Terminal 5 has its own separate stop on the tube and the Heathrow Express, so pay attention when getting on and off the train. Terminal 5 is the airport's newest terminal and is known for its luxury shops and restaurants. Antonio Carluccio and Gordon Ramsay both have restaurants in T5, and Fortnum & Mason run a champagne bar. There are plenty of designer stores (including Chanel, Dior and Burberry) if you want to shop 'til you drop. Switzerland is outside the EU, so we recommend taking full advantage of the duty free status. In Terminal 2 you'll find even more designer stores, and a gastropub serving an exclusive beer brewed for the airport. For a bit of extra luxury before you fly, check into the executive lounge. Terminal 2 has an exclusive Plaza Premium Lounge with a gorgeous interior designed by Kinney Chan. Terminal 5 has an Aspire Lounge with its own spa.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Geneva's airport is split into two sections, French and Swiss. If you're heading to the French side, proceed through customs and pick up your luggage as normal. Instead of leaving the building, walk to the check-in area and follow the signs for "destination France". The airport is well served by public transport. Trains take just over five minutes to reach the city centre, and buses take a little longer. New arrivals can pick up a Unireso public transport ticket from the machines in the arrivals hall. This is valid for 80 minutes throughout the canton, perfect for getting to wherever you need to be.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly to Geneva from London. We recommend arriving at least two hours before departure on international flights.
