Inverness Airport is a small airport with a limited choice of shops and restaurants in the departures lounge. WHSmith, Jail which offers country clothing and local crafts, and Fly Nip where you can purchase Scottish alcoholic drinks and gifts from local microbreweries and distilleries are the only shops located in the lounge. Meals and snacks can be found at The Meeting Place, a café and The Airside Café and Bar.
There is the opportunity to upgrade your visit to the airport with the Highland Lounge which offers a quiet atmosphere, Wi-Fi and complimentary hot and cold drinks.
Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport is located 10 miles to the south of the city centre of Manchester and serves the north west of England. Flybe flights from Inverness arrive into Terminal 3 which has a Spar convenience store, Caffe Nero and WHSmith.
Manchester Airport is well connected to Manchester city centre with a number of onward travel options available. The Station at Manchester Airport is the base for all bus, coach, Metrolink and train services from the airport and can be reached via a covered moving walkway. Ticket machines and information points are available at the station.
If you have hired a car from Manchester Airport a free shuttle bus is available from outside of the terminal to the Car Rental Village, running every 10 minutes.
