Edinburgh Airport
When flying to Nice you should arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. Easyjet passengers need to check in either online where you will need to print your boarding pass or using the mobile app. Easyjet self-service bag drop desks are located in the check in hall for hold luggage and close 40 minutes before your flight departure time. British Airways and Air France passengers can check in at the airport, the self-service kiosks, online or via mobile.
The departures lounge at Edinburgh airport is located on the top floor of the terminal, after reaching it you will find a wide variety of shops, eateries, a spa and children’s play areas. Yo! Free Wi-Fi is available for the first two hours with additional access available after this for a fee.

Nice Airport
Nice Airport, also known as Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport is just 6km south of Nice. There are two terminals at the airport; British Airways flies into Terminal 1 and Air France and easyJet flights arrive into Terminal 2.
Although Nice is a short drive from Nice Airport, taxis can be quite expensive and you can expect to pay around €35 to reach Nice city centre. If you are looking to hire a car from Nice Airport you will find the car hire desks located in the Car Rental Centre at Terminal 2.
Express bus services run from Nice Airport to Gare de Nice Ville station every 30 minutes, from here you can take a train connection to the destinations in the south of France. Alternatively, instead of travelling into Nice the Nice-Saint-Agustin train station is a 15 minute walk from the terminal.
What to expect in Nice
The hot summers, French cuisine featuring the freshly caught fish and locally produced wines along with the scenery and arts means Nice is a great city break for all with plenty of things to do. Although the costs of eating out can be slightly more expensive in Nice than Edinburgh you will find local wines, coffee and beer to be cheaper.
