Edinburgh Airport (EDI) has only one terminal. You should arrive about two hours before any scheduled flights from Edinburgh to Bergen to have enough time to get checked in. There are several ways to get from the airport to the centre of Bergen. Besides the many car rental companies available, there are taxis waiting outside the arrivals hall. An airport bus runs every 15 minutes from the airport to the centre of town. It takes approximately 25 to 45 minutes to get to downtown Bergen, with stops at various hotels and depending on traffic. Taxis and buses will take the same amount of time; the bus, however, is a much cheaper option. The Bergen Light Rail is another choice; it operates a stop at the airport.

Travelling in Bergen
