Bristol Airport has one terminal. If you're worried about luggage charges you can weigh your bags before checking in for £1*. There are also printers in the check-in area: perfect if you've forgotten to print your boarding card and don't have the Ryanair app on your phone. The airport has all the usual amenities such as ATM's and money changers, in case you forgot to pick up any Euros.
Airport shops include JD Sports, Accessorize, Dixon's Travel and World Duty Free. There are a few places to eat at the airport including Cabin, Dexter's, Costa and the Brunel Bar and Kitchen. One hour of Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal. There are two executive lounges: the Aspire Lounge and the Aspire Plus Lounge. Both charge for entry (£20.99 for the regular lounge and £29.99* for the Plus lounge). Inside you can enjoy little luxuries like complimentary food and superfast internet access.
Terminal Information – Arriving
The best way to get around after landing at Ireland West Airport Knock is to hire a car. Practical Information
Although Ireland and the UK are both members of the Common Travel Area and you don't need a passport to travel between them, Ryanair tend to prefer their passengers to present a valid passport instead of a driving license. Try to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight to Knock is scheduled to depart.
What to expect in Knock
Knock is in the Republic of Ireland, which uses the Euro (€). Knock is best known for its famous shrine, but is also a gateway to County Mayo: a rural part of the country which is fairly untouristed compared to Kerry, Connemara and The Burren.
