Terminal Information – Departing
Bristol Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has a small range of shops selling last-minute essentials. There are two chemists, Boots and Superdrug, as well as a Dixons Travel and a World Duty Free. There's also a JD Sports. If you're peckish you can grab a quick burger at Burger King, a coffee and panini at Starbucks, or sit down for a relaxing meal at Dexters or The Cabin. Bristol Airport has two executive lounges, which are available to all passengers for a small fee. The Aspire Lounge costs £19.99* to enter, while the Aspire Plus Lounge costs £29.99*. They both offer a range of complimentary refreshments and Wi-Fi, but the Plus lounge offers a more premium service. The Plus lounge is only available to adults.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Bergerac Dordogne Perigord Airport has one terminal. Public transport in the Dordogne is limited. Car hire at Bergerac Airport is the best option for exploring the region. Rental companies operating from the airport include Avis, Buggs, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. Some hotels in Bergerac offer airport transfers, and there are some private transfer companies operating in the region too. Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall at the airport. They're metered, but you can expect to pay about €15-20* (around £12-16) to reach the bus station in central Bergerac. From here you can find coaches to other towns in the Dordogne, or make your way to your accommodation.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly from Bristol to Bergerac. We recommend arriving at the airport around 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart. This gives you plenty of time to get through security, which can be busy during the school summer holidays. We recommend planning a bit of extra time if you're checking luggage into the hold.
