Brussels Airlines (BMI Regional) operate direct flights from Bristol to Brussels.
Terminal Information – Departing
Bristol Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has everything you need for a relaxing pre-flight experience. Shop 'til you drop at World Duty Free, Dixons Travel, Accessorize or JD Sports. Pick up some snacks and magazines at WHSmith, and pop into Superdrug for last-minute essentials like toothpaste and shampoo.
There's a good range of places to grab a bite, too. For a quick takeaway you can nip into Starbucks or Burger King, and if you're in need of something more substantial The Cabin and Dexter's are worth a visit. The Brunel Bar & Kitchen is a great stop if you need a pre-flight drink or just fancy some pub-grub.
There are two executive lounges at Bristol Airport, both run by Aspire. Both lounges have unlimited Wi-Fi and complimentary snacks and drinks. The regular Aspire lounge charges £19.99+* for entry, while the Aspire Plus lounge charges £29.99+*. The more expensive lounge is adults only and offers a range of premium spirits (including whisky and prosecco) as well as a wider range of hot snacks.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Brussels Airport has one arrivals hall. Public transport is well signposted. The fastest and easiest way to reach the city is by train. The station is underneath the airport, on floor -1. Belgian Rail trains run from the airport to the city every 15 minutes on average. It costs €8.50* (about £6) for a single ticket. Trains take about 20 minutes to reach Central Station. If you're travelling to Luxemburgplein you can take bus 12 or 21. These buses also stop at metro station Schuman, where you can transfer onto the underground if necessary. Your bus ticket is transferable, and will also work on the underground. The bus to Luxemburgplein takes 30 minutes. Tickets are €4.50* (about £3.15) if you buy them from the vending machine beside the bus stop. If you're going to Gare du Nord train station you can take buses 272 and 471. Single tickets are non-transferable and cost €3* (about £2.10). There's a taxi rank outside the terminal building. The trip into central Brussels should cost around €35* (roughly £25).
