Birmingham Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has a wide array of places to eat, drink, and relax. If you're flying to Frankfurt on business, or just like a bit of added luxury, you can check into one of two airport lounges. Terminal Information – Arriving
Flights from Birmingham usually arrive at Frankfurt Airport's Terminal 1. It's easy to reach the city centre using public transport. There's an S-bahn (overground train) station in the terminal. Lines S8 and S9 go direct to the city centre. Tickets cost €4.55* (about £3.20). You can also take bus number 61 into the city, although it's a bit slower due to traffic. Taxi ranks are available outside each terminal. What to expect in Frankfurt
Frankfurt is one hour ahead of Birmingham and the currency is the Euro (€). Frankfurt is cheaper than Birmingham.
