Several BMTA Buses make stops at the airport. A public van might be a good choice as well. You can fit comfortably in these shared vans, and you can make it to your destination with fewer stops. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi or rent a car to get to your hotel.
What to Expect When Arriving in Bangkok
Upon your arrival, your clocks need to be changed. The time difference between the two cities is five hours. You'll have to change currency into Thai baht. You can do this in the airport or at any exchange centre in the city.
