Aberdeen Airport

Aberdeen Airport has one main terminal from which your flight to Perth will depart. Passengers travelling on long haul flights to Perth, Australia will need to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flight it scheduled to depart.

The departure lounge at Aberdeen Airport has a limited choice when it comes to shops and places to eat. The shops here are World Duty Free, Art at Aberdeen Airport, Dixons Travel, Boots and WHSmith. Places for food and drink are The Globe Bar and Restaurant and Costa Coffee.

Perth Airport

Perth Airport is 14.5km east of Perth, Western Australia. Perth has four terminals, all flights from Aberdeen with Singapore Airlines, China Southern, Emirates and Qantas flying via Singapore, Guangzhou or Dubai arrive into Terminal 1, the international terminal.

Terminal 1 has a selection of shops including JR Duty Free, Hub Convenience, Vodafone and Travelex alongside a 6000 Acres coffee shop. Car hire desks for Avis, Budget, Thrifty, Europcar, Hertz and Redspot are available here.

Onward travel connections from Perth Airport to Perth is limited to car hire, taxis and buses. Taxis depart from outside of Terminal 1 and it will cost approximately $38 to reach Perth’s Central Business District, $58 to Fremantle and $55 to Scarborough.

Buses are available from Transperth with one route from Terminal 1: Route 380. This connects Perth Airport to Esplanade Busport/Elizabeth Quay Bus Station every 30-60 minutes with a journey time of 25 minutes. The bus station is in the Central Business District and offers easy access to further bus connections, the Perth Underground Station and a number of attractions and nearby hotels.

What to expect in Perth
