Airlines that fly from Manchester to Bordeaux
No airlines currently offer direct flights from Manchester to Bordeaux. Indirect flights are available with Brussels Airlines (via Brussels), KLM (via Amsterdam) and Flybe with Air France (via Paris).
Terminal Information – Departing

Brussels Airlines fly from terminal 1, while KLM and Flybe fly from terminal 3. Both terminals have an Escape lounge, which is available to passengers on all airlines. The entrance fee is £21* and we recommend booking in advance, as lounge access at Manchester Airport is always in demand. Both terminals also have free Wi-Fi for up to one hour. Terminal 1 has a wider selection of shops, including Fat Face and Boux Avenue. Both terminals have duty free shops. Terminal 1 has a wide selection of places to eat and drink, including two bars: Bar MCR and the Grain Loft. Terminal 3 has two coffee shops, a sandwich bar and an Italian restaurant.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Bordeaux Airport has one terminal. An express bus connects the airport to the city centre, and calls at the arrivals area every 45 minutes. Single tickets cost €7.40* (about £5.70). A discounted fare is available for over 60's and under 26's. Private shuttle transfers are also available but need to be pre-booked. Local bus route 1 goes from the airport to Gambetta in the city centre, and tickets are €1.50* (about £1.15). Tickets are fully transferable for up to an hour, perfect if you need to hop on the tram or another bus once you arrive in Bordeaux. Car hire from Bordeaux Airport is also available, and is a great option if you're planning to explore the French countryside.

What to expect in Bordeaux
Bordeaux is one hour ahead of Manchester and the currency is the Euro (€). It's good to have a bit of French when you visit Bordeaux.
