Terminal Information – Departing
This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.
British Airways flights to Rome usually leave from the North Terminal, while easyJet and Norwegian Air Shuttle depart from the South Terminal. The Gatwick Express train station is in the South Terminal, so if you're arriving by train and flying from the North Terminal you will need to take the free shuttle before going through security.
Both terminals at Gatwick have a wide range of shops, eateries, and places to relax. In the North Terminal you'll find three Jamie Oliver properties: an Italian restaurant, a bakery and a pub. The South Terminal has plenty of well-known names such as Nandos, Frankie & Benny's and McDonalds. Both terminals have a World Duty Free shop alongside a range of designer and high-street fashion brands.
If you have a bit of work to do before reaching Rome you can check into one of the Regus Express Work Pods, available in both terminals. The booths offer a sound-proof private space with secure Wi-Fi. Additionally, there are three lounges in the North Terminal and one in the South. All offer a complimentary range of snacks and drinks, as well as unlimited Wi-Fi and a peaceful environment to relax before your flight.
