BMI Regional usually land at Terminal 2. Flughafen train station is a short walk away from the terminal building. You can take the S-bahn (suburban train) lines S1 and S8 to central Munich. The train crosses four zones to reach the city centre, so you will need to pay for the €10.80* ticket (about £7.60). You need to validate your ticket by stamping it at one of the small machines before boarding the train or you could be in line for a fine.
The car rental centre is outside Terminal 1C, within walking distance from Terminal 2. Remember to compare car hire at Munich Airport before you fly. There's a taxi rank outside the arrivals area of Terminal 2. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the city centre by taxi and you can expect to pay about €50* (around £35).
