This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.
Birmingham Airport has one terminal. There's a good range of shops to browse including fashion chains, pharmacies, duty free and a newsagents. If you need a pre-flight manicure you can pop into Cloud Nails. Dining options at the airport range from grab 'n' go options like Burger King and Pret a Manger to more relaxing restaurants Frankie & Benny's, All Bar One and Wetherspoons. There's also a Boots and an M&S Simply Food, if you fancy putting together a picnic for the 'plane. There are two executive lounges at the airport, run by No.1 Traveller and Aspire. Flybe customers can pay to use them. Inside you can enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments as well as high-speed Wi-Fi access. If you don't want to use the lounge but do want to use the internet, don't worry: free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal.
Terminal Information – Arriving
The easiest way to reach the city centre from the airport is using the S-bahn (suburban train). Lines S2 and S3 both call at the airport and take just over 25 minutes to reach the city centre. You buy your ticket before boarding the train, and you need to validate it by stamping it at one of the orange boxes. If you forget to validate your ticket you could end up with a fine, so if you're unsure what to do try and ask someone for help. Buses and taxis are also available from outside the terminal building.
