Terminal Information – Departing
Valencia Airport only has one terminal. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport, perfect for checking last-minute trip details. The departure lounge has a small but good range of shops including a duty free store, a newsagents and a pharmacy. There's also a deli selling Valencian delicacies and a few clothes shops including Las Lilas and The Fashion Place. If you need a refreshment you can grab an ice cream at Farggi or a more filling snack at Burger King. If the hustle and bustle of the departure lounge is too much for you, you can check into the Joan Olivert lounge for €27.30* (just over £21.50). Lounge access is available to passengers on all airlines, regardless of ticket class.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Three buses run between Ibiza Airport and popular destinations on the island. Route 10 runs throughout the year and calls at Ibiza bus station, Formentera ferry port and San Jorge. Tickets cost €3.50* (about £2.75). These buses run every 15 minutes during July and August, every 20 minutes from April to October, and every half hour during the low season. Route 9 runs during the high season (June to October) and connects the airport to San Antonio. Tickets are €4* (about £3.15). Another high season bus is route 24, which goes to Sant Eularia and Cala Nova. These buses stop at the end of September. Tickets are also €4* (about £3.15). Car hire from Ibiza Airport is available from Hertz, Avis, Enterprise and Europcar. The airport has its own taxi rank, with a 69 car fleet. Bear in mind taxi prices are higher during weekends, public holidays, and after 9pm.
Practical Information
You don't technically need your passport to fly between Spanish destinations. You might be asked to show some photographic ID when you check in or reach the boarding gate, so we recommend bringing your passport anyway. Try to arrive at the airport no later than one hour before your flight is scheduled to depart.
