Airlines that fly from Paris to Lyon

AirFrance fly direct to Lyon from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. The Orly flights are operated by HOP! There are no flights to Lyon from the other Paris airports (Beauvais-Tille, Le Bourget and Chalons-Vatry).

Terminal Information – Departing

From Charles de Gaulle: Flights to Lyon depart from Terminal 2F. The terminal has a few cafes and restaurants including Paul, Columbus Cafe and Les Quais de Seine. Shops include Longchamps, Quarts and Cosmopole. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport, but you can pay extra for a faster connection.

From Orly: Flights to Lyon leave from the West Terminal. There are three cafes in the departure lounge and ten places to eat in the public area. If you're hungry it's best to arrive at the airport early and grab a bite before passing through security. The same is true of shops, although there are a few places to pick up souvenirs in the departure lounge. Like Charles de Gaulle, Orly has free Wi-Fi available throughout the airport. You can upgrade to a faster speed for a small fee.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Lyon Airport has one building, and all terminals are within walking distance of each other. Most public transport leaves from Terminal 1. The Rhônexpress tram train is the quickest way to reach the city centre, with a journey time of half an hour. One-way tickets cost €15.80* (just over £12), and returns cost €27.40* (just under £21.50). A cheaper but slower option is the bus. Routes 29 and 30 both stop at Terminal 1, and tickets cost €2* (just over £1.50). There's also a taxi rank, and you can expect to pay about €40-50* (roughly £31-39) for a taxi into the city centre. Practical Information

You don't need a passport to fly between Paris and Lyon. You might be asked to show some ID at the departure gate, so bring your passport anyway. We recommend arriving at the airport about 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart.
