Terminal Information – Arriving
Newark Airport has three terminals. The AirTrain Newark connects runs between the each terminal and Newark Liberty Airport Station where you can catch onward trains into New York or elsewhere in New Jersey. Tickets cost $5.50* (about £3.65). The Newark Airport Express bus goes direct from the airport to New York City, and stops at all three terminals. Tickets cost $16 (roughly £10.55). There's a taxi rank at the airport: if you're going to Manhattan it will set you back $50-70* (about £33-46.25). Practical Information
You need a valid passport to visit the USA, and it must be valid for the full duration of your stay. The Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) allows most British citizens to visit the states for up to 90 days without applying for a visa.
