Newcastle International Airport has just one terminal, passengers travelling on flights to Krakow should arrive at the airport at least two hours before the flight is due to depart. Jet2 check-in options include check-in desks at the airport which close 40 minutes before the flight, or online check-in which is available between 24 and 5 hours before the flight. If you check in online you will need to print your boarding pass and take any hold luggage to the bag drop points.

Krakow Airport

Krakow Airport, also known as John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice is 11km away from Krakow city centre near the village of Balice. There is one main terminal building at the airport. The Arrivals Hall is your base for onward travel into Krakow with a choice of trains, buses, car hire or taxi. Car hire companies are located in the car park, Avis, Dollar and Budget are available.

Trains depart from Krakow-Balice Airport Railway Station, a short walk from the terminal building behind the car parks. A train from the airport to Krakow will take around 20 minutes and a single ticket is 8PLN (approximately £1.40) which you can purchase on the train or from the ticket machines at the station. This is the quickest route into Krakow.

Buses from Krakow Airport depart every 20 minutes from outside of the terminal to the bus station and train station in the city centre. Single tickets cost 4PLN.
