Easyjet and Tui operate direct flights from Manchester to Paphos, Cyprus throughout the year. Thomas Cook Airlines and Jet2 also operate direct flights on a seasonal basis.

Terminal Information

Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport is 10 miles to the south of the city of Manchester and well connected with road and rail links. Each terminal is a short walk via covered walkways from the airport train station.

Jet2, Thomas Cook Airlines and Tui have check in desks at the airport as well as offering convenient online and mobile check in options. Easyjet do not have desks at the airport offering check in online with printable boarding passes or via the Easyjet mobile app.

Easyjet, Jet2 and Thomas Cook Airlines flights depart from Terminal 1, Tui depart from Terminal 2. Both terminals offer a great selection of shops with popular brands and duty free stoers available. There is something for everyone when it comes to food, from coffee and sandwiches and bakery items to restaurant and gastro-pub meals at the likes of The Grain Loft, Giraffe, Burger King and Café Nero. For those travelling with children under 8 there is a play area next to Gate 213.

Upgrades are available whilst you are at the airport. The premium lounges start at £19.99 per person and offer complimentary drinks and snacks as well as a relaxing lounge area to enjoy whilst waiting to board your flight.

Paphos International Airport

Paphos International Airport is located 9km to the south east of the city of Paphos, Cyprus and is one of the biggest airports on the island serving Paphos and other popular tourist resorts. There is one terminal at the airport.

The public transport from Paphos Airport is limited so you should pre-plan your route where possible.  Airport Express bus services run from Paphos Airport to Paphos Harbour, Paphos, Larnaca, Nicoisia and Limassol. A single ticket for buses within Paphos is €1.50, or you can purchase a day ticket for €5.

A taxi rank is available from outside of the airport and a number of car hire companies are located in the Arrivals Hall these are Budget, Sixt, Europcar, Astra Self Drive Cars and Petsas Rent-a-Car.

What to expect in Paphos

Paphos offers year-round sun and as a result it is a popular winter sun holiday destination. The summers are hot with temperatures around 30oc and winters are some of the warmest in Europe. There is very little rain during the summer with most rainfall between December and February.

Although hotels by the beach in Paphos can be expensive the general cost of living is cheaper than Manchester. Eating the local dishes such as tahinopitta, squid, tiropitta, and souvlaki in pitta are all budget friendly and cost around €2-10. Most of the attractions in Paphos are €4.50 per person and lounger hire on the beach is around €2.50 per day.
