Terminal Information
Manchester Airport
When flying to Hamburg you will need to be at the airport at least two hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. Easyjet passengers must check in between 30 days and 2 hours before the flight, either online and print their boarding pass, or using the Easyjet mobile app which saves your boarding pass for future access. Eurowings passengers can check in at the airport, or online.
Both Easyjet and Eurowings flights depart from Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport. Whilst waiting for your flight you can browse the wide variety of shops available or relax with a coffee or meal at one of the many food outlets. With Biza Duty Free, Next, Paperchase, Dixons, Victoria’s Secret, Timberland and more you can see why this is the best terminal for shops. Starbucks, Café Balzar, Soho Coffee Co. Giraffe and Mi Casa Burritos are among the places for food.
You can enjoy up to one hour of free Wi-Fi access in the departures lounge at Manchester Airport, Access beyond this is available for a fee, £5 per hour or £10 per day.

Hamburg Airport
Hamburg Airport is 8km to the north of the city of Hamburg in north Germany. There are two terminals at the airport; Easyjet flights fly into Terminal 1 and Eurowings flights fly into Terminal 2.
Both of the terminals are based in the same building and the arrivals halls are on the ground floor. In the Arrivals Halls you will find a small selection of shops, cafes, a sushi bar, a pharmacy and onward travel information.
Car hire desks for Avis, Buchbinder, Enterprise and many others can be found in the Terminal 2 arrivals hall. Hamburg is an 11km drive from the airport.
There are a number of public transport options available from the airport into Hamburg city centre. The quickest way to reach Hamburg is via the metro from the station outside of the airport. Services leave every 10 minutes and a journey takes 25 minutes. Tickets and information about travel options are available from the Airport Office in arrivals.
What to expect in Hamburg
Hamburg has a cool and dry climate which offers warm summers and colder winters with temperatures reaching freezing point. Despite this rainfall is lower than Manchester and snow is rare.
