Manchester Airport

Passengers flying to Dusseldorf should arrive at Manchester Airport at least 2 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart. Dusseldorf Airport enjoys a convenient location 9km to the north of the city centre of Dusseldorf and in easy reach to other cities in North Rhine-Westphalia in the west of Germany.

The airport has excellent transport connections available. There are two train stations at the airport, the Dusseldorf Airport train station which connects to high speed innercity express routes and the Dusseldorf Airport Terminal train station which connects to the S-Bahn line. If you are travelling into Dusseldorf city centre the S-Bahn will be the most convenient method to take, you can reach the terminal train station by a moving walkway. A typical journey into Dusseldorf will take around 15-20 minutes.

Bus services depart regularly from the two bus stations at the airport, one is outside of the main terminal building and the other bus station is located at the Dusseldorf Airport train station.
