Terminal Information – Departing

Luton Airport has one terminal. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the departure lounge. There's a good range of high-street and designer shops to browse while you wait to board. Kurt Geiger, MAC, Victoria's Secret and Aelia Duty Free are all worth a quick look. Grab some poolside reading at WHSmith, something tasty for the flight at Hotel Chocolat, or some sunscreen from Boots. If you're hungry you can enjoy a meal at Frankie & Benny's or Bar 10. There are plenty of places to grab a quick coffee and snack such as Pret a Manger, Krispy Kreme and Starbucks. For a real pre-holiday treat you can enjoy a manicure at Cloud Nails or check into the Aspire Lounge. The lounge offers a peaceful place to relax and enjoy a full range of complimentary snacks and drinks.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Arrivals come through Terminal 3 for baggage collection and passport control. Public transport is widely available, as are private transfers and car rental. If you're planning on driving remember to compare car hire at Malaga Airport to find the best deals. The car hire desks are inside Terminal 3, and there's a taxi rank just outside. Malaga Airport has a train station within walking distance: it only takes 12 minutes to reach the city centre by train. One way tickets are just €1.40* (about £1). Alternatively you can take Bus A into Malaga: it's slightly more expensive at €3* (about £2.20) and it takes a bit longer.

You need a valid passport to fly to Malaga from London. We recommend arriving at least two hours before scheduled departure. It's wise to give yourself extra time if you're flying during the school holidays, as queues at security are often longer.

What to expect in Malaga
