Flights to Santiago de Cuba generally start at London-Heathrow, where Iberia depart from terminal 3. As Cuba is outside of Europe you can enjoy a duty free discount when you shop at the airport. You can really make the most of it by visiting the terminal's high-end fashion stores which include Etro, Burberry and Chanel as well as British favourites Jack Wills and Cath Kidston. There's also a Boots and Dixon's Travel for more modest purchases. There are lots of places to eat in the airport including high-street chains Yo! Sushi, Strada and Pret a Manger. There's also an oyster bar, although you might want to stick to a safer form of shellfish before flying longhaul.

There are two lounges in terminal 3: the No.1 Traveller Lounge and the Servisair Lounge. No.1 Traveller also have bedrooms in the airport, in case you need a snooze before your flight. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport. You can pay extra or join Heathrow Rewards to enjoy a faster connection.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Antonio Maceo Airport (SCU) serves Santiago de Cuba. The easiest way to get from the airport to the city is to take a taxi. This should cost around 10 CUC. Some hotels offer airport transfers: it's worth getting in touch with your accommodation to find out if this is an option.

We recommend arriving at the airport at least two hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. Make sure you've got plenty of time between connecting flights.
