Airlines that fly from Manchester to Krakow

Ryanair are currently the only airline offering flights from Manchester to Krakow, Jet2 will begin operating flights to Krakow from April 2016.

Terminal Information

Manchester Airport

It is advised that you should arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight to Krakow is due to depart. Ryanair do not have check in desks at the airport and you must check in up to 2 hours before your flight. You can do this online or using the mobile app which saves your boarding pass on your phone. Bag drop desks are located in the Terminal 3 check in hall for those who are travelling with hold luggage. The bag drop desk closure times (40 minutes before the flight) are strictly adhered to.

Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport is home to the budget airlines and your Ryanair flight to Krakow, Poland will depart from here. This is a small terminal with a limited selection of shops in the departure lounge; Boots, WH Smith, Accessorize, Biza Duty Free, Swatch and Rolling Luggage cover all of the last minute holiday essentials. Pork and Pickle, Trattoria Milano and The Lion and The Antelope offer a wide selection of meals, from Italian to gastro-pub food or you can head to Costa Coffee or Upper Crust for snacks and takeaway food. 60 minutes of free Wi-Fi access is available throughout Manchester Airport.

John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice is located in Balice and serves the city of Krakow, 11km away.

The airport train station (Krakow-Balice Airport Railway Station) is located behind the car park at the airport. The train is one of the quickest and cheapest ways to reach Krakow city centre. A journey takes around 20 minutes and costs 8PLN (approximately £1.40)., tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines in the Arrivals Hall and the station or on board the train.

Two bus services depart from the airport during the day, a single trip is 4PLN and there are ticket machines in the Arrivals Hall and at the bus stop.
