Flights to Honolulu typically leave from either London Heathrow or London Gatwick. Terminal Information – Arriving
Honolulu Airport is situated roughly 6.5 miles from Honolulu city centre. The Airport Waikiki Express offers a shuttle service to hotels and resorts based in Waikiki. This shuttle leaves every half an hour and costs $9* for a one-way trip or $15* for a return. Bus services #19 and #20 connect the Airport with Honolulu city centre and Waikiki. These buses come roughly once every half hour and cost less than the airport shuttle ($2.50* for an adult or $1.25* for a child or senior). Car hire at Honolulu Airport is available from several companies including Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, and Budget. Rental offices are located at ground level opposite baggage claim G.

As this is an international flight, you should arrive at your departure airport at least 2-3 hours before your plane is due to depart. For British passport holders, a visa is not required for stays of up to 90 days, however, a passport with an integrated chip (ePassport) is required.
