Airlines that fly from London to Christchurch
No airlines currently offer direct flights to Christchurch from London. You can fly indirect with China Southern via Guangzhou and Singapore Airlines via Singapore. Both of these routes start at London-Heathrow.

From Heathrow Airport: China Southern Airlines fly from terminal 4, while Singapore Airlines depart from terminal 2. Both terminals have a great range of shops, including high-street favourites and expensive designer brands. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, whether you're looking for something quick and easy or a relaxed meal before boarding. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport, so you can do a bit of last-minute holiday planning (or humble-bragging). Both terminals have Plaza Premium lounges, which you can pay to enter regardless of airline class.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Christchurch Airport is well served by public transport. The local buses which call at the airport take about half an hour to reach the city centre. Tickets cost $8* if you're paying in cash. If you have a metro card it's a lot cheaper at $2.50* each way. You can also walk to the stops outside the airport grounds: tickets are cheaper here, at $3.50* cash. Taxis charge about $45* for trips to the city centre, and private shuttles are also available. For a shuttle expect to pay $25* for the first person and $4* each for every other member of your party. Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly from London to Christchurch. Your passport should be valid for at least one month from the date you leave New Zealand. If you're a British passport holder you can visit New Zealand for up to six months without a visa. You will need to have proof of onward transportation, so book your flights from Christchurch as soon as you can. We recommend arriving at Heathrow at least three hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.
