Practical Information
Aim to arrive at the airport 90 minutes before your flight's scheduled departure time. If you're flying via London, Belfast or Dublin you won't need to bring a passport. All of these cities are within the Common Travel Area. You will be asked to show photographic ID at the departure gate for security reasons. You can find a full list of approved ID on the airline websites, but as a rule of thumb any valid government issued ID will do (e.g. driving licenses, senior citizen bus passes, and NUS cards). If you're flying via Amsterdam you will need your passport as you'll be passing through the Schengen Zone.
