Terminal Information – Departing
All flights to Liverpool (via Belfast or elsewhere) depart from Glasgow-International Airport. The airport has just one terminal. The departure lounge offers a small but varied selection of shops. There's a World Duty Free for luxury goods, a Boots for last minute essentials, a Maplin for techy bits and bobs, and a WH Smith for in-flight reading. Peckish travellers can grab a quick sandwich at Upper Crust or Starbucks. If you need something more substantial, sit-down for a meal at The Sandpiper or Frankie & Benny's. Kids can blow-off some energy before the flight in the soft play area. Everyone can take advantage of half an hour of free Wi-Fi or, if you need more internet access, book into the UpperDeck executive lounge. The lounge has unlimited Wi-Fi and a full range of complimentary snacks and drinks.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Liverpool Airport only has one terminal. It's easy to get into the city with plenty of public transport and taxis available. You should expect to pay about £15* for a cab into the city centre, but taxis are metered and prices do vary. The 500 Airport Express bus, and the Terravision coach both offer a direct line between the airport and the city centre. Local bus routes 80, 81, 82A and 89 offer a slower but cheaper service. Merseytravel 883 connects the airport to Huyton Industrial Estate. There are plenty of car hire options at the airport, with major companies based in the arrivals hall. Practical Information
We recommend arriving at the airport around 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart, and no later than one hour beforehand.You don't need a passport to fly from Glasgow to Liverpool via Belfast as all three cities are within the UK. You will need a valid form of photographic ID for security purposes. You can find a full list of approved identification on Flybe's website. As a rule of thumb, any officially issued ID cards are acceptable: this includes driving licenses, NUS cards, and senior citizen bus passes.
