Airlines that fly from East Midlands to Malaga

Terminal Information – Departing
East Midlands Airport has one terminal. The security section has an Express Lane, which you can purchase tickets for and is free for children under the age of 5. The airport offers 60 minutes of free Wi-Fi access for passengers using their smartphones.
The food court has a great range of places to eat. If you're flying first thing in the morning a stop at Flat White Coffee Club is essential. If you arrive at the airport early you can indulge in a meal at Frankie & Benny's, but if you're in a hurry you can pick something up fast at Burger King or Grab and Fly. The Pork & Pickle coffee shop is a great place to enjoy some locally sourced sausages, while the Castle Rock Tap Room & Kitchen do a fantastic line in local ales.
If you're flying to Spain you can indulge in tax free shopping at the airport. World Duty Free and Dixons Travel are must visits for luxury goods and electrical items. Last minute bits and bobs are available from WHSmith, Boots and Superdrug. If you really want to treat yourself, book into the Escape Lounge. Terminal Information – Arriving
International arrivals are transferred to Terminal 3 for passport control and baggage collection. You'll find taxis, bus stops and a train station just outside. The fastest and cheapest way to reach central Malaga is by train which takes 12 minutes. An alternative is Bus A, which comes every half hour, and takes 30 mins. Each terminal at the airport has its own taxi rank, and its own car hire desks. If you are planning to drive yourself around the region remember to compare prices on car hire at Malaga Airport first.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to travel from the UK to Malaga. We recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart. Give yourself a little extra time if you're checking in a suitcase or if you're travelling during the school holidays.
What to expect in Malaga
Malaga is one hour ahead of the UK and the currency is the Euro (€). The local language is Spanish, although if you're staying in resorts most people will be happy to talk to you in English.
