Airlines that fly from Dublin to Paris

Aer Lingus, ASL Airlines France and Air France all fly to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, while Transavia France fly to Paris-Orly.

Terminal Information – Departing

This is only a guideline. Always check your boarding pass for up-to-date terminal information.

Transavia France, ASL Airlines France and Air France fly from terminal 1. Aer Lingus fly from terminal 2. Both terminals have a large shopping and dining area, The Loop, which includes a wide range of shops. Pick up some Irish souvenirs, some designer goodies, or some high-street fashion. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, ranging from Irish favourites like Butlers to global brands like Starbucks. Free Wi-Fi is available in both terminals. Executive lounge access is available for €20* (about £15.50).

Terminal Information – Arriving

At Charles de Gaulle: Aer Lingus flights usually land at terminal 1, Air France land at terminal 2 and ASL Airlines France land at terminal 3. You can get from one terminal to another using the free Terminal 2EF has a train station where you can take the RER commuter train into the city centre. It takes about half an hour to reach the Garde du Nord, and tickets cost €10* (about £7.80). This is also where the Disneyland Paris Magical Shuttle picks up passengers. The Roissybus stops at every terminal and charges about the same, although it can take longer to reach the city. Local buses 350 and 351 charge €5.70* (just under £4.50) for the trip into the city.  All of the terminals have a taxi rank, but cabs to downtown Paris are extremely expensive: expect to pay about €150* (about £116). Car hire is also available.

At Orly: Transavia usually land at the sud (south) terminal. You can hire a car at the airport or take the bus into central Paris. Tickets on the OrlyBus cost €7.50* (about £5.80). The bus takes about half an hour to reach the city.

You need a valid passport to fly to Paris. We recommend arriving at the airport around 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart.

What to expect in Paris

Paris is one hour ahead of Dublin. French people really appreciate it when you make the effort to speak their language, so try to learn a few key phrases before you fly. Dublin and Paris are both quite expensive cities, so while you might find yourself saving some money on meals, you'll find yourself spending more on coffee and soft drinks. Paris and Dublin both experience similar temperatures during the winter, but in summer the City of Light is a lot warmer with an average temperature of 20°C.
