Terminal Information – Departing
Cardiff Airport has one terminal. There are three places to grab a bite to eat or drink. Caffi Cwtch is located before security, so you can enjoy a drink with anyone who has come to see you off. Once you get through security you can pop into Caffe Ritazza for a coffee and a cake or enjoy a pre-holiday drink and meal at Echo Bar. Enjoy tax-free shopping at Nuance Tax and Duty Free Shop, Fat Face, Superdry and Oakley: perfect for grabbing some last-minute holiday clothes. The airport also has an executive lounge, with unlimited Wi-Fi and complimentary refreshments. Entry prices start at £17.50* per adult.
Terminal Information – Arriving
All international flights are directed through Terminal 3 for passport control and baggage collection. This large terminal has plenty of public transport on offer outside. There's a train station within walking distance, offering a 12 minutes transfer time to the city centre. Tickets cost €1.40* (about £1). You can also take Bus A: tickets costs €3* (about £2.20) and the journey time is slightly slower. There's a taxi rank outside. If you're staying outside of the city it's a good idea to rent a car, as public transport can be quite sporadic. Car hire desks can be found inside Terminal 3. Compare car hire at Malaga Airport.
Practical Information
You need a valid passport to fly from Cardiff to Malaga. For international flights we recommend arriving two hours before scheduled departure. This will give you plenty of time to check in your luggage, navigate the queues at security, and relax for a bit in the departure lounge.
