Bristol Airport

There is just one terminal at Bristol Airport. BMI Regional have check-in desks at Bristol Airport, or you can check in online, from 48 to 4 hours before your scheduled flight time. You will need to aim to arrive at Bristol Airport around one hour before your flight, especially if you are checking in at the airport to allow enough time to go through security checks and find your boarding gate in the departure lounge.

Facilities in the departure lounge at Bristol Airport include a small choice of shops such as World Duty Free, Superdrug, Claire’s Accessories, WHSmith, Starbucks and a few others. The Bristol Airport Food Village is located on the mezzanine area of the lounge and home to bars and restaurants such as Cabin, Burger King and Brunel Bar and Kitchen. You will also find the premium lounges here if you want to relax in a quieter lounge area before your flight and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks and unlimited Wi-Fi access.

Aberdeen Airport

Aberdeen Airport has one terminal and located just 7 miles outside of Aberdeen city centre. In the arrivals hall there is a small selection of shops such as Tie Rack and WHSmith, a Costa, information points and onward travel options. If you have hired a car from Aberdeen Airport you will find car hire desks located in the Arrivals area.

Buses regularly depart from outside of the airport building, running to Aberdeen city centre with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes. If you’d prefer to travel by train the nearest train station to Aberdeen Airport is Dyce Train Station which is 2 miles away. Buses run to the station, alternatively taxis are available from the taxi rank. Trains are available at least hourly during the week and take 10 minutes to reach Aberdeen Station. A single fare to Aberdeen is £2.20 and tickets can be purchased on board the train.
