Bournemouth Airport is located roughly four miles north of Bournemouth city centre. It's a small airport with a limited number of shops and places to eat and drink, but it does have all of the essentials. If you're hungry there’s the Italian-themed EstPresso which offers snacks, coffee, and hand-made sandwiches. There’s also Joes Coffee House or The Olive Tree, which offers coffee-shop style sandwiches and pub dishes. Bournemouth Airport doesn’t have many shops, however it does have a WH Smith for newspapers, novels, and snacks and a World Duty Free for fragrances, cosmetics, and other high end purchases. Free Wifi is available at the airport.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Geneva Cointrin International Airport is situated roughly 2.5 miles from Geneva city centre. Geneva Airport offers free public transport from the airport to the city centre. You can get a ticket to use on public transport from the machines in the baggage claim area, to the left of the 'Nothing to Declare' section of Swiss Customs. The ticket is valid for 80 minutes and can be used to go into Geneva city centre, the suburbs, or even as far as Anieres, Veyrie, or CERN. The airport’s train station is a short walk from customs. Trains depart every 15 minutes and the journey time is normally around 6 minutes. Note: for your free ticket to be valid, you will need to show your boarding pass. Taxis can be found outside the arrivals area, and Geneva Airport car hire can be booked in advance or upon arrival. The car rental desks are just outside the baggage claim hall. Most of the major chains, including Avis, Alamo, Budget, Europcar, National, Hertz and Holiday Auto, have a desk there.
