Bournemouth Airport

It is recommended that you arrive at Bournemouth Airport at least 2 hours before your flight to Malaga is scheduled to depart to allow enough time for check in and security. Ryanair offers a number of check in options whether you wish to check in at the airport or in advance. Online and mobile app check in are both available with bag drop desks for those carrying hold luggage. Bag drop desks close 40 minutes before your flight departure time.

Bournemouth Airport has one departures lounge with a small selection of essential shops and places to eat. You will find WH Smith, World Duty Free, EstPresso and The Olive Tree Café Bar. A shopping bag allowance is in place at the airport. This allows you to take one standard sized shopping bag from the airport shops on board your flight with you as well as your hand luggage at no extra charge.

Up to 60 minutes of free Wi-Fi is available to enjoy at Bournemouth Airport, additional time is available at £5 per hour or £10 per day.

Malaga Airport

Malaga Airport, also known as Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport has an ideal location just 8km south of the city centre of Malaga. Ryanair flights arrive into Terminal 3 where the arrivals hall has a number of facilities and onward travel options.

Trains are available from Malaga Airport with a station at Terminal 3, the C1 Line runs to Malaga and Fuengirola with a number of stops en route. A single ticket to Malaga is €1.75 and takes 10 minutes, trains leave the airport every 20 minutes. If you would prefer to take the bus to Malaga the A Express Airport bus departs from outside the airport with a journey time of 15 minutes and a single ticket costing €3.

A number of car hire companies are available from Terminal 3 and can be ideal for those who want to explore Andalucía, or those staying away from the main resorts. Taxis from the airport are available but can be expensive with a €5.50 supplement added to all airport fares.
