Terminal Information – Departing

Birmingham Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge offers plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Whether you're in the mood for a coffee and a cake or a beer and a burger, there's a restaurant to suit every appetite. Grab something on the go at Costa, Burger King or Deli Hub by Kebabish. Sit down to a tasty meal at The Meriden, Frankie & Benny's or Giraffe, or simple treat yourself to a pre-flight tipple at Wetherspoon's, All Bar One or Blanc et Noir Champagne Bar.

Airport shopping is varied, with a good range of high street favourites and airport mainstays. Pick up a new outfit at Superdry, some tax free goodies at World Duty Free, or some beauty essentials in Boots. There are plenty of great shops to browse before you fly.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Cork Airport has one terminal for arrivals. Bus 226 connects the airport to Parnell Place Bus Station in the city centre. It's also possible to take Bus Éireann number 249 which stops at the airport en route from Kinsale. There is a taxi rank outside the arrivals hall. Expect to pay about €20* (about £14) for the trip into the city centre. If you're planning on booking car hire at Cork Airport  you'll find the rental desks in the arrivals hall. Companies offering car rental from the airport include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Dooley and Hertz.

Practical Information

Ireland and the UK are both members of the Common Travel Area. You don't need your passport to travel from Birmingham to Cork. You do need to bring some photographic ID for security purposes.
