Terminal Information – Departing

Birmingham Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge is well-equipped, offering plenty of pre-flight distractions. You can shop 'til you drop in a wide range of designer and high street shops. Terminal Information – Arriving

Knock Airport only has one terminal. There's a taxi rank outside the terminal building, and it's possible to pre-book your cab if you're in a hurry. Bus Eireann offers three coach services from Knock Airport. Bus 64 goes to Galway, Sligo and Derry; bus 438 goes to Ballina; and bus 440 goes to Castlebar, Westport and Achill Island. The best way to get around the west of Ireland is by car, and a number of car rental firms are based at the airport. They include Europcar, Budget, Hertz and Avis.

Practical Information

Ireland and the UK are both members of the Common Travel Area so you don't need a passport to travel to Knock from Birmingham. You do need to bring a form of photographic ID which shows your nationality: your driving license is fine in this situation.
