Belfast-City Airport is easy to reach from the city centre. Check-in and security are located downstairs and the departure lounge is upstairs. It's small but perfectly formed, with a good range of places to eat and shop. Shops include World Duty Free, House of Ireland and WH Smith. If you're hungry you can choose from Harvest Market restaurant and O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bar. The Bushmills Bar is ideal for a pre-flight tipple. There are two coffee shops at the airport too, Costa and Espression. If that's not enough to keep you entertained, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal. There's also an Aspire Lounge if you want to get away from the hubbub of the departure lounge. Entry prices start at £18.99* and includes a full range of complimentary snacks and drinks.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Leeds Bradford Airport has one terminal. It's easy to get into the city, whether you plan to take public transport or not. National Express and Megabus offer regular services between the airport and Leeds Coach Station. It's best to book your tickets online in advance. Usually you can get better prices on advance tickets, and it also guarantees you a space on the bus. Flying Tiger buses run between the airport and nearby train stations, in case you're going further afield. These buses have free Wi-Fi and power-points so you can plug in your laptop and get a bit of work done. Private hire cabs are available at the airport through Arrow Cars. Car hire is available from Leeds Bradford Airport, and you can compare deals easily with Skyscanner.
Practical Information
You don't need a passport to fly between Belfast and Leeds, although staff at the boarding gate will ask to see some photographic ID.
