Terminal Information

Aberdeen Airport

Aberdeen Airport which is located 6 miles from Aberdeen has one small terminal. It is recommended that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight to Tenerife is scheduled to depart. Tui offers check in at the airport or you can check in in advance online where you will be required to print your boarding passes or via mobile. If you have checked in online you will need to take any hold luggage to the bag drop desks at the airport, these close 45 minutes before your flight departure time.

In Aberdeen Airport’s departure lounge you will have a small number of shops to browse or pick up any last minute holiday essentials and duty free deals. These include Boots, WHSmith, World Duty Free, Dixons and Art at Aberdeen Airport. Places to eat and drink are The Globe Bar and Restaurant and Costa.

Tenerife South Airport

Tenerife South Airport is located in Granadilla de Abona on the south coast of this Canary Island and offers easy access to many of Tenerife’s most popular holiday destinations.

Within the arrivals terminal you will find a small selection of shops and a coffee shop. Onward travel options from Tenerife South Airport are limited and planning in advance is recommended. Titsa Buses run services to Tenerife North Airport as well as the main resorts on the island such as Los Cristianos, Puerto de la Cruz and Costa Adeje throughout the day. If you are travelling away from the main resorts car hire may be more convenient. Car hire desks from companies such as Hertz and Avis are located in the arrivals hall and taxis are available from outside of the airport.
