Flybe offer direct flights to Belfast-City. There are currently no direct flights to Belfast-International from Aberdeen Airport.
Terminal Information – Departing
Aberdeen Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has all of the usual shops you would expect to see in an airport. There's a World Duty Free where you can browse luxury goods, a Dixons Travel for gadgets, a Boots for last minute essentials and a WH Smith if you need some in-flight reading. Most of the dining options are located before security. These include Joe's Coffee House, the Kitchen and a Wetherspoons bar. There's a Costa Coffee in the departure lounge, and The Globe Restaurant in case you need something more substantial than a coffee and cake. Aberdeen Airport has free Wi-Fi throughout. The Servisair business lounge is available to all passengers, regardless of airline and ticket class. Entry costs £17.50*: this includes unlimited Wi-Fi, complimentary snacks and drinks, and a comfortable place to relax before your flight to Belfast.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Belfast City Airport is only three miles away from the city centre. It's a great option if you're visiting Belfast for work and need to get into town quickly. The airport is served by the Airport Express 600 bus, which connects to the Europa bus station in the city centre. It costs £2.50* for a single ticket, and you can buy this direct from the driver. Taxis are also available from outside the arrivals hall. Cabs are metered, so prices vary depending on where you're going. Expect to pay about £10* for a trip into the city centre. Car hire from Belfast City Airport is provided by Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz.
Practical Information
You don't need a passport to fly from Aberdeen to Belfast, but you will need to show some appropriate identification at the departure gate. As a rule of thumb, any officially issued photographic ID is okay: for example driving licenses, council-issued bus passes and NUS cards. We recommend arriving at the airport at least one hour before departure.
