Shimla is a classic hill station, favored more by Indians than foreigners. That said, it is still an enjoyable place to relax while the rest of India is sweltering in the heat of the monsoon. April to June offer the most pleasant climate and are the best time to visit Shimla. Winter months, you can see snowfall in the region and boast snowy sports galore to enjoy with.
