Terminal Information

London Stansted Airport

When travelling with Ryanair or Easyjet you will need to check in up to 2 hours before your flight either online or via the airline’s mobile app. Both airlines do not have check in desks at the airport, if you have hold luggage there are bag drop desks in the check in hall. Bag drop desks close 40 minutes before your flight departure time. It can take up to 15 minutes to reach some of the gates from the departures lounge so ensure you leave enough time.

In the departures lounge at Stansted Airport you will find a great choice of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Boots, Body Shop, Glorious Britain WH Smith, Next, Starbucks, Joes Coffee House, Illustrious Bar and Café and Leon are just some available. Free Wi-Fi is available in the terminal for the first 60 minutes with additional access available for a fee.

The Escape Lounge is available from £19.99 per person and offers a relaxing lounge area with complimentary food, drinks and unlimited Wi-Fi.

Malaga Airport

There are three terminals at Malaga-Costal del Sol Airport, both Easyjet and Ryanair flights from London Stansted arrive into Terminal 2.

Malaga Airport is just 8km south of Malaga and there are plenty of onward travel options available which run to the city. In the Transport Hub outside of Terminal 3 at the airport you will find the airport train station. Trains to Malaga take approximately 10 minutes and depart every 20 minutes, a single ticket is €1.75.

Buses depart from outside of the terminal, it will take around 15 minutes to reach Malaga on the A-Express Airport bus service, a single ticket is €3.

Car hire from Malaga Airport is ideal for those travelling beyond the beach resorts of the Costa del Sol. The car hire desks are located on Floor -1 of Terminal 2 and you will find companies such as Hertz, Avis and Sixt. Booking your car hire in advance is recommended.

What to expect in Malaga
