You can check in for your flight to Cork online, by mobile or at the airport. Online check in is open from 30 hours to 2 hours before your flight. Aer Lingus recommends that if you are checking in at the airport you should arrive 2.5 hours before your flight departure time, airport check in closes 45 minutes before the flight. If you’re running short on time you can or just want to avoid the queues you can purchase Fast Track security passes to get entry into a dedicated security lane.
Aer Lingus flights from Manchester Airport depart from Terminal 1.This is the terminal with the widest selection of shops available, especially when it comes to fashion and beauty brands. You can take a standard size shopping bag on your flight with you with your hand luggage, or use the shop on return service. Cork Airport
Cork Airport in County Cork serves the entire south west of Ireland making it one of the busiest airports in the country. There is one terminal at Cork Airport, the arrivals hall has an information desks and a small number of onward travel options to Cork, Limerick, Galway and Kinsale.
The airport is located 6km to the south of Cork making it easy to reach by taxi or bus. To reach Cork by bus you should take the Bus Eireanna service 226 which departs from outside of the airport terminal to Parnell Place Bus Station, a journey takes around 20 minutes and a single ticket is €5.50. CityLink Ireland bus services travel to destinations outside of Cork such as Galway and Limerick.
Taxis are available from the airport’s taxi rank, you can expect to pay at least €20 for a taxi into Cork city centre. If you have hired a car from Cork Airport you will find the car hire desks located in the arrivals hall where you can collect your keys.
