Aurigny Air Services is currently the only airline offering direct flights from Manchester to Guernsey.
Terminal Information – Departing

Aurigny Air Services usually depart from Manchester Airport's Terminal 1. This is the airport's most contemporary terminal, and has an excellent range of places to eat, shop and relax. Guernsey isn't a member of the EU, so you can make the most of your duty free discount. Shops include airport favourites like Biza Tax & Duty Free and WHSmith as well as high-street clothing brands Monsoon, Fat Face and Boux Avenue. If you're peckish there are plenty of food options including Giraffe, Cafe Balzar, Starbucks and Upper Crust. The Grain Loft is great if you're in a group. The booths have a space to plug in your iPod, and you can even pour your own beer. Bar MCR is another excellent place to kick off your trip: kick back and enjoy tapas and cocktails. You can enjoy one hour of free Wi-Fi throughout the departure lounge, so you can just to kick back and catch up on your social networking if you don't fancy eating or shopping. For a really relaxing experience, check into the Escape Lounge. Prices start at £19.99* per person, and inside you can enjoy a range of complimentary refreshments as well as a relaxing atmosphere. Book early: the lounge fills up quickly.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Guernsey Airport is small, with just one terminal. The best way to explore the island by car, and both Avis and Europcar offer rentals from the airport. We recommend booking in advance, and comparing car hire at Guernsey airport to get the best deal for your dates. Taxi services on the island are mostly private hire, so it's best to book your transfer before you arrive. Alternatively you can take the bus. The bus service on Guernsey has a £1* flat fare to anywhere on the island, including the airport.
Practical Information
Alongside the UK and Ireland, Guernsey is a member of the Common Travel Area. You won't need your passport to fly from Manchester to Guernsey, but due to security you will need to present some photographic ID. You can find a full list of approved ID's on Aurigny Airlines website. It includes photographic driving licenses, recognised company ID cards, and NUS cards.
What to expect in Guernsey
