Terminal Information – Arriving
Flights from Glasgow land in Terminal 1, the non-Schengen terminal of Prague Airport. The airport is well served by buses and is only 12 miles from the city centre. Although the airport doesn't have its own metro station you can take a bus to one. You can buy bus tickets from the public transport kiosks in the terminal, the DPP kiosk in the arrivals hall, or from the vending machines by the bus stops. You can use the same ticket on all public transport during its validity period: choose from 30 minutes, 90 minutes or three days. You will need to stamp your ticket before boarding the bus, as this kicks off the countdown of your validity period. These tickets can't be used on the Airport Express Bus: tickets for this cost CZK 60* (about £1.55) if you buy them on the day but are cheaper if you buy them in advance. This bus stops at Hlavní Nádraží, Masarykovo Nádraží, and Náměstí Republiky. If you would prefer to get a taxi you can hail one from the rank outside the terminal. Expect to pay around CZK 400-800* (£10-21) for the taxi. Another option is to rent a car: click here to compare car hire at Prague Airport.
