Airlines that fly from Glasgow to Newquay
Flybe is the only airline currently offering direct flights from Glasgow to Newquay. Flights depart from Glasgow Airport: there are no flights to Newquay from Prestwick Airport. Note that these flights only run during the summer season.

Flights to Newquay usually depart from terminal 1. Glasgow Airport has a good range of shops and restaurants, as well as a pay-in lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport for up to one hour. Shops include designer brands like Bobbi Brown and Jo Malone, as well as airport essentials such as Boots and WH Smith. There's a World Duty Free shop where you can pick up little luxuries in advance of your trip. The airport has a shop and collect service so you don't need to bring your purchases to Newquay: you can pick them up on your way home. Dining options at Glasgow Airport include snack bars, coffee shops and restaurants so there's no need to fly on an empty stomach. If you're hungry you can grab a bite at the likes of Frankie & Benny's, Wetherspoons and Starbucks.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Newquay Airport has one terminal and is located about five miles from the city centre. First Bus run a service, no. 56, between the airport and Newquay Bus Station in the town centre. Official taxis are available and if you pre-book you can save money on your car. Expect to spend about £15* for the trip into Newquay if you book ahead. You can hire a bike from GoByCycle: they'll meet you at the airport.

Practical Information
You don't need a passport to fly domestic within the UK. You will be asked to show some photographic identification before boarding. Your driving license is fine for that, but do check Flybe's website for a full list of accepted ID types. Try to arrive at the airport no later than one hour before scheduled departure.
What to expect in Newquay
Newquay is slightly warmer than Glasgow. During the summer the temperature often rises to 19°C and it rarely drops below 3°C during winter. It's not uncommon to see temperatures as high as 8°C during January and February. Note that it can sometimes be tricky spending Scottish banknotes south of the border.
