Flights from Glasgow to Exeter depart from Terminal 1 which is Glasgow Airport’s main terminal. The airport is well-equipped with a number of different shops, places to eat and drink, and other essentials such as ATMs, toilets, and pay phones. Shopping options include everything from a WH Smith for newspapers and snacks to designer labels such as Victoria’s Secret, Swarovski, and Sunglass Hut for more expensive purchases. Terminal Information – Arriving

With only one terminal, Exeter Airport is much smaller than Glasgow airport. Buses run to and from the city centre frequently. The journey time from Exeter Airport to the central bus station in Exeter usually takes around twenty minutes. Alternatively, taxis are available at Exeter Airport and can be booked through the Apple Central Taxis office in arrivals. Getting to and from Exeter city centre is usually anywhere from five to ten minutes faster by taxi. Another option is to hire a car. Car hire at Exeter Airport is offered by Hertz, Europcar, Budget, and Avis. The car rental office is conveniently located inside the terminal building.

Practical Information

While you don’t need a valid passport to take a domestic flight between Glasgow and Exeter, you will need some form of photographic identification such as a recently expired passport or a valid driving licence/university card.
